What: Homebrew and Bottle Share Event
When: February 23 Homebrewing starts at 9am; Bottle share at 2pm
Where: Brewer's Pizza 14-B Blanding BLVD
This is a great event for anyone who enjoys good hand-crafted beer! Head out to Brewer's Pizza to meet some of the local homebrewers and taste their concoctions. Feel free to bring your own gear to brew with them, or simply hang out and watch others work their magic!
Most of Jacksonville's coolest people (I am not biased at all) are a part of the craft beer community. This is a great opportunity to gather with fun folks, eat good food, and consume uniquely tasty beer!
Cheers to local beer!

Brew and Bottle Share on the Farm with Tomoka Brewery
The day was marked with some fantastic brews, several of which were on tap (nicely advertised on their outdoor chalkboard tap list), and the rest came in the form of a bottle share. What good gathering doesn't include a bottle share? Not one that I've been a part of!
I tried to take as many pictures as I could throughout the day. Enjoy!

For me, it was a great time to meet several people from Twitter whom I had yet to meet in person, and plenty of others I already knew, but just don't get to see often enough.

The IPA Hot Sauce was phenomenal! Great flavor and not too hot.

This was my first time eating collard greens. Why aren't they ALWAYS served on pizza?

When the pizza came out, it was the only time people stepped away from the taps and kettles
I am not sure how it happened, but there were quite a few Texas based bottles from the likes of Jesterking and Freetail. Made me miss the Lonestar flag that hung in my classroom for the four years I taught in Houston.
